OverviewOverview

Blind Drive is a driving adventure game you play with audio rather than visuals. You are Donnie and are in a scientific study that has got out of control. You find yourself cuffed to the wheel of a car driving blindfolded against traffic. It's tongue in cheek, dark humour with plenty of innuendoes and swearing that tells an engrossing story while you try to not die (and get home in time for dinner with Grandma).

Play involves using audio cues and sound effects to steer the car left and right. There are also extra-fine haptics/vibrations that offer some information although these complement rather than mirror the sound.

Through 27 different levels, you learn to drive while blindfolded and take on more difficult boss encounters. All the while you have your rude GPS chattering in your ear -- not unlike GLADOS from Portal.

The game's dialogue is fully voice and well-acted. What starts as a simple driving game soon turns into an amusing crime-comedy with mobsters, dolphins and (of course) your angry Grandmother, performed by a full cast of voice actors.
