Play OverviewPlay Overview

Bravery and Greed (2022) is an action-fighting game where you team up to battle monsters in frantic combat. As you progress, you collect coins and upgrade your gear until you die, then start again with some of the items you found. While it's a familiar concept, the four distinct classes of hero, each with unique skills, abilities, and fighting styles, and cooperative play make it stand out.

You play a fierce fighter on a quest to find the runes that unlock the sky fortress. You traverse deadly dungeons and lush forests, defeating the hordes of monsters you find. It's all about quick reactions and getting hits in first as you deal with an onslaught of enemies. Do well and you collect coins to buy new weapons and upgrades, as you delve ever deeper into the ancient world.

You pick your hero from one of four classes; Rogue, Warrior, Wizard, or Amazon. Each class has its own special abilities and attacks, and experimenting with each to find what works best for you is essential. Then, alone or with up to three friends, you begin your run into enemy territory, defeating the skeletons and other creatures you find using fast-paced melee and magical attacks.

It really comes to life when played with friends. This not only ups the camaraderie but lets you specialise and focus on different aspects of the game. For example, one person might be best at defeating enemies up close, while another can stay back and use magical spells to assist. As you progress together you gain items and money that help on the current and also successive runs.

The result is a tough challenge that allows you to craft your own unique hero through upgrades and different character classes, resulting in a more personalised journey. Honing your skills and working as a team to overcome mountainous challenges is a hugely rewarding and collaborative journey where communication and perseverance are key.
