OverviewOverview

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling is a role-play game reminiscent of the Paper Mario games. You play three bugs, Vi, Kabbu, and Leif, as they search for The Everlasting Sapling. Explore, level-up and take on fun battles in this lovable adventure.

Drawing inspiration from games like Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door, you control three characters who explore a paper-craft over-world. Each characters uses unique abilities to get around, solve puzzles and find secrets. Your quest is to find The Everlasting Sapling - eating just one of its leaves can grant even immortality. It's an adventure that will take you to The Ant Kingdom, the Snakemouth Den, the Golden Hills, the Lost Sands, and the Bee Kingdom.

When you encounter an enemy, battles are turn-based puzzles where you perform simple timed button presses to maximize your attacks or avoid enemy damage. You can use special attacks as well as acquire weapons and abilities as you progress. Winning an encounter gives you Exploration Points that are used to increase your different stats.

Bug Fables creates an accessible role-play adventure with fewer complications that more recent games of the genre. With unique and charming bug-based partners and baddies, a fun battle system, dungeons and puzzles it creates a nostalgic adventure for old and new alike.
