Play OverviewPlay Overview

Cubric (2019) is a puzzle game where you play a robot trapped inside a maze. Unusually, the maze is three dimensions and made up of six moveable cubes. To escape you turn and twist the cubes in three dimensions to match up paths, avoid hazards, and enable your robot to run and jump to the exit.

Play requires good spatial awareness as well as quick reactions to run around the corridors, and manipulate them to create routes. There are instructions provided as you play which let you develop skills slowly as you move through.

The result is a challenging puzzle involving a lot of trial and error. The intriguing interplay between the moveable puzzle, changing gravity and route finding make it a really unique experience.

Our examiner, Andrea Walney, first checked Cubric (Dreams) 2 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 22 months ago.
