Play OverviewPlay Overview

Dropsy (2015) is an adventure video game where you move around and interact with the world by simply clicking. You play a clown called Dropsy in a surreal world. As you explore and interact with the environment, solve puzzles, and talk to characters you learn about Dropsy's backstory. He's something of an outcast after causing a fire at his family's circus, hoping to clear his name,

"Hug everyone you meet," states the trailer. This, as much as solving the mystery, is the point of the game as you are challenged to find compassion for a range of characters usually dealt with more severely in video games and real life.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Dropsy 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 3 months ago.
