OverviewOverview

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale is a stealth puzzle game, where you play a 6-year-old boy on his quest to find his mother. It's a non-violent adventure game where you must sneak past the dangers of the Wild West to build self-confidence, cunning, and new skills to get past the foes.

El Hijo is left by his mother at a secluded monastery for protection. But he decides monastic life is not for him and escapes to find his mother. On his journey, he will find himself in a remote monastery, a harsh and unforgiving stretch of desert, and a frontier town rife with crime and villainy.

The gameplay is simple. You control El Hijo's movements and interactions. But with this the game adds variations to increase the challenge. Along the way you hide in shadows to avoid monks and bandits, use toys to distract opponents, jump into laundry baskets, bathtubs, and coffins to stay hidden. It's a game that needs logic and lateral thinking to solve. Doing so then delivers the next chapter in El Hijo's story.
