OverviewOverview

ElecHead is a running and jumping puzzle game where you control a character who is a source of electricity. With this power you activate the platforms you need to progress in unusual and puzzling ways. It introduces unique scenarios where you need to carefully consider where you need to be and what you want to power. It's a unique twist that combines with intuitive, simple controls and short varied level design to make ElecHead stand out.

You progress through the levels by running and jumping over chasms, activating levers to make new areas accessible and dodging deadly obstacles. Unusually, when you stand on platforms you charge them with electricity to extend them and open new ways to traverse the level. But when you jump off a platform, it retracts back to its original size. At the same time you need to take care about connecting platforms to dangerous obstacles that will kill you if electrified, meaning you have to be sure that what you are about to touch is safe.

It's a unique and brain stretching puzzle that is further extended because you can throw your head, the source of your power, onto impossible to reach platforms to make them expand. Here though, you only have 10 seconds before your body explodes without its head and you have to start the level again.

This unique set of gameplay mechanics, as well as its cleverly designed levels offer a fast-paced and balanced challenge.

AccessibilityAccessibility

Our ElecHead Accessibility Report documents 19 accessibility features:
While there aren't any difficulty levels, here the challenge is more in figuring out how to complete each section than in raw platforming skills, although there are still areas where you need to complete a section in a certain time (ie. before your body explodes after 10 seconds of being without its head).

Because it's played in a 2D plane, where you are trying to get to remains clear throughout. The simple, high-contrast 3 colour palette of the game also makes deciphering what you're looking at straightforward.
