Play OverviewPlay Overview

Fae Farm (2023) is a simulation game where you build a farmstead, harvest your crops, and go adventuring. It's an increasingly common set-up for a game. Here though, you use magical spells to grow your plants, defeat enemies and interact with a varied cast of characters. Coming from the team behind Dauntless, Fae Farm combines that same deep cooperative play with shared farming spaces to create a fresh take on the tried and tested formula.

After moving to the enchanted isle of Azoria, you establish a homestead and build a farm to harvest crops and make money. As you explore deeper, you soon uncover secrets in the island's ruins and dungeons. To get to them though, you find yourself taking on monsters and needing to craft and upgrade your various weapons and magical abilities to survive.

Gameplay consists of building and tending to your farm, growing and selling crops to make money that allows you to buy and craft items and decorations for your house. When playing with others, you all work towards improving the same space as a shared goal. As you play, you unlock more magical spells and abilities that can be used to explore, grow crops, fight, or navigate.

You can also interact with the townsfolk, completing missions for them and unlocking rewards. Exploration of the island's ruins and dungeons leads to you discovering hidden secrets and getting into fights with monsters, where you use various weapons and magical abilities to attack.

The result is a charming game that offers a combination of a cosy farm and life simulation with exploration and fights. The fun comes from creating your own unique homestead, made special by the spoils of your adventures and escapades.
