Play OverviewPlay Overview

Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters (2013) is a cooperative traversal game where you explore a haunted house looking for treasure. You play by rolling a dice to move, finding treasure and fighting ghosts. It is a cooperative race where you must act quickly or be defeated by a ghost uprising.

You play as a team of treasure hunters, who are exploring a haunted house looking for eight hidden jewels. You have to race to collect the treasures before the house is overrun with ghosts. To move, you roll a dice, but the further it lets you move the more ghosts appear in the house. If you find treasure, you then need to carry it out of the house to safety, but if you meet a ghost then you must try to scare it away by rolling another dice and hoping for a ghost symbol.

As you play, more ghosts appear in the house. When three materialize in one room, they then merge to form a Haunting, which can only be destroyed by two players in the same room and rolling together. To beat the game, you must carry all eight treasures out of the house, whilst avoiding six hauntings happening at once.

What starts as a fun treasure hunt, quickly becomes a battle to keep the ghost numbers under control. You must work as a team, deciding together how best to use your dice rolls or else you all need to run for the exits when the ghosts take over.
