Play OverviewPlay Overview

Golf With Your Friends (2020) is a miniature golf simulation game where you hit your ball around increasingly extravagant and ridiculous courses. Along with the usual putting, your ball can fly a short distance on some courses, and jump to reach new sections or take shortcuts. With the capacity for both on-and-offline multiplayer, as well as a single-player mode, it offers a laid back way to connect with friends and family over a competitive yet lighthearted game.

There are over 200 courses to play, arranged into 13 levels, each with 18-holes. while some levels are relatively straightforward, other levels have moving platforms, huge chasms, loop-the-loops and more. A Worms-based level, along with a level based on the game the Escapists, is also freely playable.

Along with the par number of shots, you only have a certain amount of time to complete each hole that begins when you start preparing your shot and pauses when the ball stops moving again, keeping the gameplay fast-paced. You line up your shot and choose the amount of power you want to put behind it, then release the ball, after which you can make the ball jump, helping you to avoid some obstacles, and, in some levels, you can also fly for a short time, allowing you to get across huge chasms. You can also unlock cosmetic items for your ball, such as hats and colours.

In addition to the typical golf-style gameplay, you can also play in Hockey mode, where the aim is to get the ball past a moving goal defender. this adds variety to the gameplay, but can also act as a way to impose your shot accuracy and practice each course.

It's a unique game that combines fast-paced and skilful gameplay with lighthearted and communal fun to create a novel play experience accessible to players of all ages.
