Play OverviewPlay Overview

Hey! Pikmin (2017) is a spinoff game from the Pikmin series. In this game Captain Olimar crash lands on a planet and needs to find fuel to escape, leading a group of Pikmin through 2D side-scrolling levels collecting the Sparklium. Players enter a level and use the Pikmin they find in that level whilst exploring.

After completing a level, the saved Pikmin are sent to the Pikmin Park, an area where Pikmin can look for more objects with sparklium. More sections open up as you complete sections of the park. The game is compatible with every Amiibo released before the game's launch, which provides a variety of in-game bonuses. A Pikmin-themed Amiibo was also released at launch.

Other Pikmin games include the following:
  • Pikmin (2001) on Gamecube and Wii
  • Pikmin 2 (2004) on Gamecube and Wii
  • Pikmin 3 (2013) on Wii U
  • Hey! Pikmin (2017) on Nintendo 3DS in 2017
  • Pikmin 3 Deluxe (2020) on Nintendo Switch

Players can toss pikmin repeatedly at enemies to deplete creatures' health meters; enemies close their eyes and slump to the ground when killed.
