As Ash, You work from rookie aviator to ace pilot in the 30 levels of the single-player story mode. You earn upgrades and extensively customise your craft. Although the gameplay is different, the characters and story visuals have the feel of Advance Wars to them. You can then take on harder, faster levels against relentless AI with new attack patterns and extra upgrades for your ship to provide a fresh experience.
You can opt to toggle rather than hold down buttons for shooting. You can adjust the deadzone sensitivity. You can choose different steering types.
