Overview
It’s high stakes because a single missed jump sends you falling to the screen below. Because you can’t see that it can mean you fall a considerable way before hitting firm land. This means you need to consider each jump carefully, because once you are in the air there is no way to turn back!
As you work your way vertically upwards, you meet various characters. All progress and setback is saved automatically. You can earn upgrades for your boots for increased range. Some levels have specific qualities like snow that stops you walking.
There are a couple of expansions for the game.
- New Babe+ adds a new level that’s longer (higher) and more difficult. It also adds more mystical characters and locations as well as more items to obtain.
- Ghost of the Babe adds a level where the Babe is missing, and there’s a new world to complete. It offers new outfits.
There is also a new version of the game coming soon, Jump King Online, that focuses on online multiplayer.
