Play OverviewPlay Overview

Karak (2017) is a traversal game where you explore a dungeon, fight monsters and discover treasure. You play by building a labyrinth tile by tile, moving your hero and rolling dice to resolve combat. It is a journey into the unknown, where you will need luck to survive.

You play as one of six heroes racing to find treasure in the dungeons of Karak Castle. Each turn you place a dungeon Room tile and move inside hoping for treasure or a useful weapon. If you're unlucky you'll face a monster that must be defeated with a dice roll. If you lose you take damage, but if you win you are rewarded with useful loot.

As you play, the dungeon unfolds and you discover more power-ups and more powerful monsters. At first, you might not have the firepower to defeat them, but over time your upgraded weapons sway things in your favour. Defeat the powerful dragon to end the game and the player with the most treasure is the winner.

What starts as a journey of discovering what is around each corner, quickly transforms into a dice-rolling battle for survival where you must upgrade your hero in order to defeat the monsters before they defeat you.
