Play OverviewPlay Overview

Kids (2019) is an unusual game where you tap to interact with groups of monochrome cartoon children. Seeing the little kids run around and respond to each other creates a playful and intriguing game that only lasts half an hour but will be played many times.

Kids is a short interactive animation drawn by Michael Frei and coded by Mario von Rickenbach, their second collaboration after the award-winning project PLUG & PLAY. The strange interactions combine with choral singing to create a playful otherworldly experience that is as beguiling as it is unsettling.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Kids 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 8 months ago.
