Play OverviewPlay Overview

Kine (2020) is a 3D puzzle game where you control three robot instruments: Roo, the accordion; Quat, the drum; and Euler, the trombone. To help them become a band, you solve puzzles that involve their different abilities in various ways.

In each level, you control each instrument. You use their various skills to reach and collect the piece of sheet music on each level. Because each instrument moves differently, you have to adapt your strategy to the movement of your character in order to reach your goal. For example, Quad can push and lift themselves using their symbols allowing them to pass over gaps and push themselves to new squares they otherwise couldn't reach. However, the symbols can also get in the way of movement forcing you to think creatively about how to pass certain areas.

Our examiner, Jonah Monaghan, first checked Kine 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 5 weeks ago.
