Play OverviewPlay Overview

Lost Ember (2019) is an animal exploration adventure game. While forward progress is relatively linear, it involves beguiling flying, swimming, digging and running to explore the mysterious world through the eyes of different animals.

You mainly play as a fleet-footed fox in the game's beautiful world but can inhabit all manner of other creatures to solve puzzles and uncover the secrets behind the fall of the old world. It’s a familiar native story but one that resonates with the wider creaturely theme of the game. Experience the contrasting stories of the fall of mankind and the lush life in a world reclaimed by nature with a wolf as your main character and a determined companion at your side.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Lost Ember 4 years ago. It was re-examined by Ellen Robertson and updated 4 weeks ago.
