Murder by Numbers (2020) is a detective game where you find clues by solving math-square nonogram-style logic puzzles. A little like Phoenix Wright games where you have a murder to solve, but here you have to use maths logic rather than pure deduction.

You follow TV actress-turned-detective Honor Mizrahi and Scout her robot companion and help them with four murder cases. You work your way up with each one, starting with a Detective Rank of F, by scoring points to unlock bonus puzzles. Do well enough and you can unlock further back story.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Murder by Numbers 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 4 weeks ago.
