Ninjala is an online action battle game where you play colourful gum-chewing ninjas who compete in futuristic tournaments.

You traverse the level to gain a tactical advantage and take down your opponents with a variety of weapons. Ninja-Gum blows bubbles to throw at foes. Foam batons and hammers provide close-ranged attacks while yo-yos can be used at a distance. Each weapon has its own stats and encourages a different play style.

Although the focus of play is on combat, like other movement-shooter games, you also need to run, double jump, climb walls and glide to get around quickly. You can also detect other nearby players using Ninja Sense and can hide by morphing into various objects.

There is a short single-player story mode that follows the chapters through a handful of different missions. Battle Royale-style matches pit 8 players against each other. The player with the most points over the course of the match is the winner. You score points by downing opponents, collecting items, destroying drones and holding key territory. There are also 4-on-4 Team Battles. Here you work with teammates to defeat other players and earn more points than the opposing team to be declared the winner.

The game is regularly updated with seasons of content. This not only updates gameplay but adds new features in the maps, new weapons and characters and new costumes and outfits to earn for your heroes.

A colourful variety of costumes and accessories from an array of unique fashion brands are available. Choose from a wide variety of avatar items which can be combined as you see fit. You can stick to one brand for a consistent look, or mix and match to create a style all your own!
