The focus is on the dungeon exploration and fighting action, but the game is equally about solving a murder mystery. As well as mastering the fighting mechanics you must decide whether to fight with them or against them as this will change the cause of history and result in a new narrative that might save the world.
This ability to manipulate time lets you see events unfold from different perspectives, and understand characters in these contexts. As you progress you learn more information about each one that will aid you in solving the riddle of the game and make the right choices about who to support and who to dispatch.
