OverviewOverview

Ommy Kart is a single player racing game. Race around Starfish Island as either Ommy, Frederick Fox, Artio, or Stanley the Bear. Try to beat the computer-controlled drivers to the finish line. You can collect offensive and defensive items along the way, such as exploding ducks and force-field shields. Find the hidden shortcuts to get a faster time.

Play involves steering with the stick and holding a button to accelerate. There is an online scoreboard for fastest laps, but in each race you only compete against computer-controlled opponents. The items you collect can be used to hinder other karts and they will be doing the same to you. The violence is cartoon style (such as the use of a rubber duck as a bomb).

There is only a single track, but it is colourful and has multiple routes through it which makes it very re-playable. Over time you get to know the circuit really well, as this is the sole focus of the game.

This is suitable for all ages and although you cannot race against each other, you can compete in your family to get the fastest finish time.
