Play OverviewPlay Overview

Pac-Man vs. (2003) is a version of Pac-Man adapted for multiple players. One player controls Pac-Man and tries to eat the pellets, while the others control the ghosts to try to catch him. Each team scores points in different ways, and the first team to hit the target wins the game.

The novelty is that the game uses multiple screens so the ghost and Pac-Man players can't see what each other is doing. It has the feel of hide-and-seek to it. Six different mazes can be selected, each having different layouts and music.
  • Gamecube (2003) - To play you need a Game Boy Advance, the GameCube, Game Boy Advance link cable, and three GameCube controllers. You can play this version on the Wii.
  • Nintendo DS (2007) on the Namco Museum game, with Download Play so you only need one copy of the game and four DS's. You can play this version on the 3DS/2DS.
  • Nintendo Switch (2017) on the Namco Museum game. You need two Switch consoles, but only one copy of the game (there's a free version to download for the second console) one docked for the ghost players and one undocked for Pac-Man player.

This is an Action and Traversal game with Collecting and Platform elements. You can play with 1 to 4 players in the same room, but you can’t play it online. If there are fewer than four players in the game, uncontrolled ghosts will become grey-coloured CPUs that are harmless to Pac-Man — however, a ghost can touch him to tag it with his or her colour, which can kill Pac-Man and count towards that player's score.
