Play Overview
Part Time UFO (2018) is a puzzle game where you use your flying craft and claw to solve various problems. Sort out a farm, support cheerleaders, cook up the ultimate dessert at a restaurant or even build a castle. It's sort of like the coin-operated crane machines.
You can play with two players working together, combining your claws carefully. Each job has three different challenges to get full marks. On the Switch, there's also a high stacking mode. The better you do the more outfits and customisations for your robot and performance enhancements.
From a tight-lipped ship captain, a clumsy museum curator, or a fishy professor, to even elephants, dogs, and hamsters, they'll all cheer on Jobski during jobs, let out a sigh when Jobski fails, and show all kinds of reactions. Some of them may also be disguised and hiding in wait.
It's silly fun, and aimed at younger players, but as the challenges rack up you really need to concentrate to do well. With two players in a family, this works very well.
