Overview
You wake on an island with 100 different dinosaurs, which can be killed for meat, tamed or ridden. Your task is to survive by mining resources, making artefacts, building shelters and defending yourself against enemy animals and other players.
Additionally, you can manipulate and adapt the world by removing or adding blocks similar to Minecraft. You explore the randomly generated environments (jungle, desert and caves) and take on unique quests that relate to your current biome. There are also daily quests to take on.
PixArk may seem like a strange mix to lovers of Ark or Minecraft, but the combination offers a great way to step into survival games for younger players not ready for higher stakes gameplay. The menus, visuals and interactions are more accessible and designed with these players in mind.

Age Ratings
This game has been rated ESRB EVERYONE 10+.
Rated PEGI 12 for frequent scenes of mild violence. Violence is a mixture of Minecraft meets Guncraft. Blocky players armed with fists, and sticks hit each other and wild-life with many blows which result in bright flashes and red blobs. Fantasy characters can be carved up into bits which eventually disappear. As the characters gain more resources their weaponry improves to pick axes, swords and even machine guns and rocket launchers. The better the weapons, the greater damage dealt and the more realistic the response.
Users Interact: The game enables players to interact and communicate with each other, so may expose players to language usually associated with older rated games.
