Play Overview
Satisfactory (2019) is a factory building set on a foreign planet. Like the popular Tycoon and Factory games in Roblox, you start with humble beginnings, you harvest what you can by hand but steadily you build a sprawling empire of automated harvesting machines, conveyor belts, storage containers, and manufacturing machines.
You have the freedom to develop your factory processes and machinery any way you please. As you progress things get harder and you can unlock more tools and machines to help. Things get complicated and you may find yourself keeping notes of your various projects and plans.
Unlike other games that constantly ratchet difficulty until you are overwhelmed, here you can choose then to move to the next stage. When you feel ready to progress you send your home planet the materials they need and in return receive new resources back from them.
Satisfactory is currently in early access, this means that the game is still in development. New machines and features are being added regularly making the game exciting to return to.
Our examiner, Jonah Monaghan, first checked Satisfactory 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 7 months ago.
