There are 100 different missions and unlockable comics based on the real history of Bloody April. You can also earn ways to customise your plane and upgrades for your flying and combat abilities.
There is an earlier, sister game, Ace Academy: Skies Of Fury available on iOS and Android. This offers a similar experience, although it’s free to start and you can buy upgrades to your plane. The Switch version benefits from the proper game pad controls rather than touch screen and tilt of smartphone.
Free-to-start on iOS with in-game purchases of "loot boxes". It also includes adverts on Android. But there are no in-game purchases in Skies of Fury DX on Switch.
