Slice Fractions and Slice Fractions 2 are maths-based puzzle games where you slice objects to create specific fractions that clear the path, defeat ghosts and enemies. It's a simple challenge that blends learning about one of the most essential parts of mathematics with an enjoyable and engaging story.

You play a small woolly mammoth and must clear a path through the wilderness by defeating ghosts and moving the correct fractions to the right places. You create the fractions by slicing through objects like in Fruit Ninja. They then slide into place and clear the path. You can also burst bubbles that suspend fractions and slice through chains to move the fraction to where they need to go.

You make your way through the fundamentals of fractions, from simply learning what they are, through adding and subtracting one fraction from another, all the way to multiplication and division of fractions. Each level is relatively short but teaches a unique lesson that builds upon the knowledge learned in previous levels, and by first ensuring the fundamental knowledge is firm, it allows you to push yourself on the more challenging sections later on.

It's a unique series of games, that combines engaging gameplay with the learning of one of the most fundamental pieces of maths in a package accessible to players of all mathematical abilities thanks to its simple explanations of concepts and many levels that ensure a deep understanding.

When you complete a level, a white flash indicates progression onto the next level.

Some objects are attached to chains in such a way that when you slice them they swing. In these scenarios you sometimes need to make the fraction fall at certain items so that it lands in the right spot, which can take a fair bit of precision.

You can easily restart any level, although there is a white flash when you do this.

Your character always moves forwards when possible, meaning navigation isn't a concern.

You can mute the audio, but cannot adjust its volume.
