StarCrossed (2020) is a breakout-style game where you shoot a projectile between two players to hit and destroy enemies. You play one of a cast of 5 space-faring heroes, each with unique abilities. Each level pits you against enemies that shoot at you with different patterns of bullets. You have to work together to position yourself to bound your star into each of them.
It's a bit like a classic arcade shooting game, except your weapon is the star bouncing between you and your partner. Timing and teamwork are essential to use your positioning to line up the perfect shot and defeat the waves of enemies! In the Arcade Mode, it's an all-out race for points. In Story Mode, you work through waves as the story unfolds.
It's a good game for families with younger children as the collaborative play reduces the pressure and you have fun trying to communicate how to take on each enemy.
