Play involves identifying how your different characters, locations, times and objects can be combined that match the different stages of the story. For example, characters might be faithful or unfaithful to each other. Characters may want certain objects, be attracted to specific genders or be subject to jealousy. Some individuals are subject to suicide, murder and crimes while others are angelic and resurrect themselves.
The idea is extended by the fact that each story can be solved in different ways. Like Scribblenauts, you can use the qualities of each character and item to achieve the required start and end of a story in different ways.
Each different story has special criteria you can try and meet to solve it in a certain way. This offers a reason to replay stories after you have a simple solution. The game includes a large range of characters and themes, featuring heroes and villains, dragons and vampires, infidelity and remorse, love, lies and madness.
