Tactical Breach Wizards Preview
Posted: 4 months ago.
For each of the missions you deploy your characters. Each of which have different equipment and magical abilities. These include the ability to see into the future to influence time as well as powers that move enemies about. This adds an interesting spin to the turn based combat genre, both with the unusual abilities and the novel wizard-meets-police aesthetic.
Between fights you debrief and talk to characters. This enables you to learn more about your team and their next objectives. But it also unfolds the wider plot of the game that you are working to discover and foil. You can also upgrade characters ready for what's coming next.
Expected Content Rating: PEGI 16
Release Date: Coming soon
Genres: Fighting, Shooting, Strategy and Turn-Based
Not yet rated but likely to be PEGI 16 and ESRB MATURE 17+.
"The game has a stylised rather than realistic look, but people sure do get shot, stabbed, slammed into walls, smashed through windows, turned into crabs, etc. There is blood, necromancy, drugs both real and magical, and one spell involves something like euthanasia? Substance abuse may be a theme but the substance is mana potions - I don't know if that makes it better or worse."
