Tails of Iron Review
Posted: 4 weeks ago.
Play involves exploring the world to meet companions who will aid you in your adventure. Taking on foes steadily gains you experience. But you must also find recipes for meals, blueprints to forge new weapons and armour if you are to survive. All the while you learn about the world through the fully voiced narration.
Enemies are all in the form of frogs. From toady zombies to gargantuan grubs the Kingdom is awash with danger. Each encounter requires you to study your opponent's attacks and adjust your fighting tactics accordingly. You need to decide which of your abilities you should use, parry bashes, fatal executions, ranged attacks and the like.
The game is taken beyond a simple battle challenge to that of a full role-play adventure with a plethora of ways to develop your character as well as many side quests and faction hunts to take on. You can even join forces with a sharp-eyed companion to help even the playing field.
