Play OverviewPlay Overview

The Block (2022) is a creative city-building game where you place buildings and trees to make beautiful miniature scenes. Inspired by games like Dorfromantik, there are no time limits, objectives or enemies. The randomly generated pieces offer countless unique creations as you let your mind wander, making for a unique and meditative game.

There are several different sizes of square grids on which you can build, and each piece you place, whether a tree, tower, or building, is unique. This results in tiny urban scenes covering every pixel of your block, varying in height, density and landscape.

The twist is that you have to work with the flow of pieces you are provided with. Because you can't choose when you get each one the creations gain an organic feel where happenstance and creativity meet to make something often unexpected.

The result is a peaceful, relaxing distraction that offers unlimited variation and creativity in the places you create through randomly generated and selected tiles.
