The Gecko Gods Preview

Posted: A year ago, last updated 12 weeks ago.

Author: @GeekDadGamer and Jo Robertson.

The Gecko Gods is a puzzle game where you control a small lizard reptile exploring a world and solving puzzles. You interact with the flora and fauna, catch insects and visit other animals. Because you have sticky feet you can climb any surface.

With a children's story book art-style, the game takes place in a world of collapsed ruins with paintings and architecture to explore. There's a day and night cycle as you explore, and other animals go to sleep (or wake up) during night. As you progress you uncover increasingly difficult puzzles with timing and stealth that themselves reveal the mysterious history of the world and its inhabitants.

The game is planned for PC and Switch in 2022, with other consoles at a later date.
