Play OverviewPlay Overview

The Plucky Squire is an adventure where two dimensional storybook character, Jot, discovers the three dimensional world. Play involves battling enemies and exploring the world, on the book pages, surfaces of objects in the real world, and out in the world itself. It stands out not only for the novel traversal through different planes of reality but the storybook vibe and nods to classic games.

Play starts as a simple side-on adventure game but when the malevolent Humgrump kicks Jot out of its pages it changes the story forever. You then face new challenges in 3D action platforming style, but can also leap onto different objects in the world to progress with classic 2D platforming.

The result is an endearing game with a storybook feel. The clever use of both 2D and 3D action not only add variety but interplay with each other to unlock new ways to progress and develop the story.
