Play OverviewPlay Overview

The Smurfs Mission Vileaf (2021) is an exploration running, jumping and shooting game. You battle the wizard Gargamel to free imprisoned Smurfs and return the sarsaparilla fields to health. to do this you must track down the ingredients for the antidote.

You can play four different Smurfs (Smurfette, Hefty Smurf, Brainy Smurf and Chef Smurf) with different abilities in five different worlds. As you progress through the world, spraying the antidote on plants and enemies you get new abilities, attacks and flying. This enables you to reach more of the level.

The platforming around the world is a good balance of running around, jumping on mushrooms and enemies and gliding through the air. This is punctuated with collecting the items you need and downtime in the village where you can talk to other Smurfs.

Content Rating

Rated PEGI 3 for occasional very mild violence in a comical or abstract context. This game features very mild violence between the player's Smurf character and small fantasy creatures. When defeated, these creatures disappear in puffs of smoke. When the player's character is hit, they flash red and sit down, dazed. There are some moments of suspense, such as when players have to avoid Gargamel inside his house and when they have to avoid some tentacles in a swamp. However, there are no jump scares or scary monsters and the overall context is light-hearted and cartoonish.

Skill Level

6+ year-olds usually have the required skill to enjoy this game. Still, it’s important for parents and guardians to ensure they understand in-game purchases and have spending limits set-up. Very young children can play the helper character who can't die. Older children with good spatial awareness and the patience to explore and collect things, will also enjoy having help from a parent as the robot player 2.
