Play Overview
The Walk (2013) is an adventure you play by walking in the real world. A device detonates in Inverness station, and you have a package that could save the world. To stay alive, you’ll need to walk the length of the UK.
As you walk each day in the real world (any route you like) you can navigate the in-game map and discover side-missions. In this way you progress the story, save the world and have a compelling reason for going for regular walks. The mystery unfolds as you slowly work out who set off that bomb. The adventure takes you hundreds of walking miles through 65 episodes and 800 minutes of audio.
Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked The Walk 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 2 years ago.
