Play Overview
Very Very Valet (2021) is a strategy game where you must park cars neatly and return them to guests as they need them. With up to four people you run a team of puppet valets to conquer a range of parking and retrieval challenges
The actual driving is simple, although you need to watch out for other players and obstacles. Your own character moves with rag-doll style motions. This adds to the parking challenge, along with the different locations (city streets, cliffsides, bowling alleys, airports, and even trainyards) and the deceptively tricky driving controls.
As you progress, it becomes clear this is a game about managed mayhem rather than precision and skill. Still, you need to prioritise where to park each car so it will be easy to get when you need it. Get this right and you can hit a smooth rhythm, but let things get out of control and you find yourself with lots of unhappy customers.
At the end of each level, you are awarded points to see how well you did. Where you are playing with other people you get to vote on a clip of each player's best moments which adds a nice angle in families and with friends.
With multiple players, the challenge becomes one about communicating and team organisation. Different team tactics develop as you decide how to tackle the backlog of cars to park or retrieve.
