Play OverviewPlay Overview

Viewtiful Joe (2003) is a side-on fighting game where you play a movie-lover whose girlfriend Silvia is kidnapped during a film starring your favourite superhero, Captain Blue. You enter the movie world, transformed into the tokusatsu-style persona "Viewtiful Joe" and must rescue her.

The gameplay combines running, jumping and fighting mixed with 3D cel-shaded graphics. You can call in special powers that slow down or speed up time. It’s frantic and fast-paced but offers a unique combination of strategy and platform combat.
  • Viewtiful Joe (2003) on GameCube and PlayStation2
  • Viewtiful Joe 2 (2005) on GameCube and PlayStation 2
  • Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble (2006) fighting game for the PSP and GameCube
  • Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble! (2006) for the Nintendo DS.
