Play OverviewPlay Overview

Wii Fit (2008) is a collection of games designed to help you exercise. They use the Wii Balance Board peripheral that works with both Wii Fit on the Wii and Wii Fit Plus on the Wii U. The Balance Board measures the pressure you place on it and enables a range of yoga, strength training, aerobics, and balance games.

Wii Fit has been used for physiotherapy rehabilitation, as well as being used by health clubs, nursing homes and other locations. It offers a low-intensity workout that focuses on motion and balance rather than pure fitness.

Wii Fit Plus on the Wii U also comes with a pedometer to incentivise getting outside and walking where that is possible.

Our examiner, Andy Robertson, first checked Wii Fit 3 years ago. It was re-examined by Jo Robertson and updated 20 months ago.
