Best Games on Xbox Series X|S with "Speaker Indicator, Their Tone and Environment Sounds" Accessibility Settings

Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launched in 2020. These offer enhanced visuals and sound. You can play all Xbox One games on the new console and use all the Xbox One controllers and peripherals.

There are two versions of this Xbox that will play all the new games, although the exact experience will vary some what:
Xbox Series X - high end version with support for 8K resolution
Xbox Series S - a digital-only unit with less graphic processing power

As part of our Accessibility Report, this page lists games that have been flagged with accessibility settings in the following areas.

Reading: Each of these games has been assessed for how much reading or listening comprehension is required, how well the game provides visual and audible access to the text and whether subtitles and captions are a good fit for purpose. Each game offers the following accessibility features and settings:

  • Speaker Indicator, their Tone and Environment Sounds: Captions indicate who is speaking and their tone, game sound and music. This can also be indicated visually in the game with character icons or character expressions with text in speech bubbles next to the person speaking. Environmental sounds are provided as extra text within the subtitles.
