Best Games on Nintendo Wii with Visual Cues for Audio Events Accessibility Settings

The Nintendo Wii was a big departure from Nintendo's previous console, the GameCube. There was a drive away from always having to have much better graphics and instead focusing on the interaction device. It introduced a new motion controller the Wii Remote and Nun-Chuck. This opened the door to many new game styles and was adopted in PlayStation and Xbox controllers in the future.

The Wii was played by a much wider demographic of player. There are some unusual and brilliant games on the system. However, there are also a lot of poor quality games that were churned out to cash in on the popularity.

As part of our accessibility review, this page lists games that have been flagged with accessibility settings in the following areas.

Audio: Each of these games has been assessed for how you can adjust the audio of the game and whether audio cues compensate for aspects of the game that are hard to see. Each game offers the following accessibility features and settings:

  • Visual Cues for Audio Events: Text or other visual indicators of audio events. This mirrors audio indicators of progress in the game with a corresponding visual indication.
