Games on Mac with Colour Adjustments Accessibility Settings

Although not necessarily considered a gaming computer, most Macs can run a wide range of games. You can purchase these games via the Apple App store, straight from the developer website, or via services such as the Steam or Epic stores.

As part of our accessibility review, this page lists games that have been flagged with accessibility settings in the following areas.

Switch 'N' Shoot

Platforms: Mac, Nintendo Switch and PC

Players: This is a single player game.

Switch 'N' Shoot is a shooting game controlled by a single button. You pilot a star-fighter, each time you press to shot you change direction. It's a novel way to play but also can be good for players with motor impairment (and fast reactions).


Steamworld Quest

Platforms: Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC and Stadia

Genres: Adventure, Narrative, Role-Playing and Turn-Based

Duration: Between 14 hours and 22 hours to complete.

Players: This is a single player game.

Costs: Purchase cost.

SteamWorld Quest is also turn-based, but here you pick card abilities to attack enemies, which moves the strategy from prioritisation and shooting to combining attack and defence abilities effectively.


A Hat in Time

Platforms: Mac, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Genres: Action, Adventure, Open World, Platform and Puzzle

Duration: Between 9 hours and 14 hours to complete.
