Best Games on Nintendo Switch with "Beginner Advantage" Accessibility Settings

The Nintendo Switch is a video game console released in 2017. It combines handheld and console features. You can use it on a large TV screen, or remove it from its "dock" to play in handheld mode like a Nintendo 3DS.

Following on from Nintendo's Wii and Wii U console, it offers small wireless controllers that are motion sensitive. It also has a touch screen that can be used in handheld mode.

Although it's not backwards compatible with Wii U or Wii games, many of these are being re-released on the system. It is also a good machined to access lots of smaller games made by independent developers.

As part of our Accessibility Report, this page lists games that have been flagged with accessibility settings in the following areas.

Difficulty: Each of these games has been assessed for how you can adjust the challenge of play, and assistance the game offers when you fail or get stuck. Each game offers the following accessibility features and settings:

  • Beginner Advantage: Select an advantage for weaker players. This is usually for multiplayer games and offers a way to create competitive matches between players of different ability.
