The Last of Us is a series of two games (and an additional chapter) about the events of a fungal pandemic. Although it initially appears to be a typical apocalyptical game about shooting zombies in the head and running for your life, what soon emerges is a deep, troubling and honest story about the relationship between a father character and his daughter.
Building on technology and experience from creating the Uncharted games, the develop creates an experience that is as much about circumventing encounters and violence as it is about winning them. This, along with filmic cut scenes that seamless flow from the action, make the experience both unusual and arresting.
Both of the games in the series have received critical acclaim and a number of awards for storytelling, acting and technical aspects of its delivery.
