The Xbox 360 followed up the original Xbox in November 2005. It offered a more in depth online experience along with improved visuals and sound. There was also a focus on offering media features to watch and stream programs. You could not play original Xbox games on the Xbox 360.
Along with a new controller, the system also launched a camera controller called Kinect. This offers motion controlled gaming without the need to hold a controller.
